The Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows movie will come out November 2010 and May 2011. If you haven’t read the book yet, this is a good time to pick it up – the Library has a few copies in and the audio CD is available too!
If you’ve been reading the Cirque du Freak series, or Darren Shan’s other super-popular series, you won’t want to miss this!

The Cirque du Freak movie trailer is available online! Read the books if you haven’t yet – they’re a little creepy, sorta scary and all-around exciting! The first book tells the story of a guy who gets tickets to a “Cirque du Freak” (basically, a freakshow) with all kinds of gross, scary, and weird acts – and before he knows it, he’s more…well, involved than he ever intended.
Well, after the Twilight movie comes out on November 21, which movie-based-on-a-book are you going to be eagerly waiting for?
Naomi and Ely’s No-Kiss List – written by the same team as (link:http://www.countyteens.com/?p=461) Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist Rachel Cohn and David Levithan.
Naomi and Ely are best friends. Naomi loves and is in love with Ely, and Ely loves Naomi, but prefers to be in love with boys.
So they create their “No Kiss List” of people neither of them is allowed to kiss. And this works fine – until Bruce. Bruce is Naomi’s boyfriend, so there’s no reason to put him on the List. But Ely kissed Bruce even though he is boring. The result: a rift of universal proportions and the potential end of “Naomi and Ely: The Institution.”
This is pretty cool. Some info from Amber Baynor

Gives you a good idea about the set design– Martin Laing (Titanic, Pearl Harbor) really give the movie an epic and unique post-apocalyptic aesthetic. Another tidbit, it was filmed in a former paint hall in Belfast, Ireland’s Titanic Quarter. Other filming sites included Englands, Romania, Prague and Berlin.

Bill Murray plays Mayor Cole; i’m really looking forward to his work in this film! He has such great comic timing, and i’m sure he’ll do well to make this film good for all audiences, young and old.
Also, some other great features to point out is the screenwriter, Caroline Thompson. She adapted the original book by Jeanne Duprau, and has written other notable screenplays such as The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands.
